Who

Sean O'Keefe - Producer

Sean O’Keefe is a producer and screenwriter for film and TV who has written for every major Hollywood studio.

As a producer, Sean first cut his teeth working for Neal Moritz at Original Film, then as VP of film production at Michael Ovitz’s Artists Production Group, where he oversaw the development slates for a wide range of top acting and directing clients. Following APG, Sean cofounded Union Entertainment, a pioneer in codeveloping film and video games from the ground up.

As a screenwriter, Sean is currently writing an Untitled Female Ransom Thriller feature that he sold to Netflix. He also recently adapted Robert Kirkman’s comic series “Oblivion Song” for Universal. Prior to that, he completed an adaptation of Robert Parker’s novel “Wonderland” as a Netflix feature starring Mark Wahlberg and directed by Peter Berg (retitled “Spenser Confidential”). Before that, he wrote a reality-based “Green Hornet” reboot for Gavin O’Connor and Paramount. Sean also wrote and is producing a prison escape drama, “The Escapist”, for Liam Neeson and Endurance Media. Sean’s WW2 drama, “Paper Man”, earned a place on the Black List.

Sean grew up in a cabin in Alaska and attended Eton College and Harvard.
